This Championship team was coached by Hall of Famer Forrest "Phog" Allen. Beautiful paper certificate measures 13” x 18” and has a black and white photo at its center. At the top is “Certificate of Recognition and Appreciation…1923 Basketball Team of the University of Kansas…National Collegiate Champions on occasion of its 35th Anniversary Reunion…May 31, 1958”. It was presented to “Mrs. Forrest Allen for being a constant inspiration to our great coach”. The Championship team members have signed the bottom in blue and black ink including Hall of Famer Adolf Rupp, Black, Engel, Bowman, Stratton and others. It is in NM overall condition with light toning throughout. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
