Dennis Johnson was a two-time NBA Champion with the storied Boston Celtics, where he played alongside the legendary Larry Bird in the 1980s. Bird, who won three championships in Boston and suited up alongside many great players throughout his career, once called Johnson “the best I’ve ever played with.” Johnson’s repeatedly clutch play in the biggest of moments certainly aided that reputation. Among his postseason heroics in Boston are his shutting down of Magic Johnson in the 1984 Finals (his first championship season in Boston); his buzzer-beating jumper to win Game 4 in the 1985 Finals against the Lakers; and his game-winning basket off Larry Bird's steal in Game 5 of the 1987 Conference Finals against Detroit.
