To the surprise of the entire world, after completing his first three-peat in Chicago in 1993, Michael Jordan traded in his basketball sneakers for baseball cleats and left the NBA to pursue his long held dream of playing baseball. Before ultimately returning to basketball in 1995, he spent just one year in the Chicago White Sox Minor League system, during which time he used this black Wilson model WC209 Michael Jordan professional model bat. The bat is un-cracked and shows evidence of heavy use. Ball marks include blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs. Jordan’s initials (MJ), the length (5) and model number (WC209) are each stamped into the knob, while Jordan’s number (45) is written on the knob in white paint marker. Comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA and an additional LOA.
