Included in this lot is Dr. Allen’s State Board of Osteopathic certification to practice medicine, which has been framed to 18-1/2” x 15-1/2” and can be seen in the doctor’s office photograph available in the lot of Allen photographs. Also included here is an early picture of Allen in a suit and tie, which has been framed on a pedestal to 9” x 11” and has been signed in black marker in the bottom left corner by Allen, with the signature rating a 4-5 due to fading. Also included here is Phog’s personal scrapbook with shoestring binding, an 8” x 10” unframed photograph with an original note from Allen himself on the back, and the 1967 Procedures and Guidelines book for the National Association of Basketball Coaches which Allen founded in the 1920s. The signed pieces in this lot will be accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
