1938 was a tremendous year for the New York Yankees. They defeated the Chicago Cubs in four straight as the Cubs pitchers could not handle the middle of the Yankees order; Dimaggio, Gehrig and Dickey. Not only is this program extremely rare, but even more scarce as few examples are known to be signed by Dimaggio. A great item to remember the legendary Bronx Bombers of the post Ruth era. This official 1938 World Series Program has “Yankees vs. Cubs” across the front. Joe DiMaggio has signed the cover in blue ink rating a 9. The program is in NM overall condition; official 1956 World Series program has been signed on the cover by Yogi Berra and Don Larsen, the battery who combined for a perfect game during the 1956 series. The signatures are done in blue marker rating an overall 8-9. The program is in NM overall condition. This lot is accompanied by a LOA from JSA for the signatures.
