Noted artist Ron Lewis has captured Larry Bird in living color on a piece of Bird’s High School basketball floor. French Lick, Indiana, home to Spring Valley High School, got to witness the birth of a basketball legend. Larry Bird started there from 1971-74 and when the gym was remodeled, this piece of floor was saved. Lewis has captured Bird at the three stages of his basketball career: High School, College and Professional. Lewis used oil paints to produce this handsome homage to Larry Legend. The piece of floor itself is the original hardwood Larry applied his basketball skills on. This piece is framed to measure 17” x 24” and Bird has signed it in a large signature, black marker rating a 9. Lewis has also signed the piece. It is in NM overall condition and is accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
