This royal blue tunic was worn in the Universal production of “Anne of 1000 Days” by Richard Burton. It is a tudor style golden silk tunic with full brocade sleeves. The neckline inset is decorated to match the sleeves. It has an Angels label as well as a Bermans & Nathans label inscribed “Burton.” It is in good overall condition with some tears and repairs on the neck lining and some fraying to the silk on the shoulders. It comes from the vault of the Planet Hollywood Collection and is accompanied by a photo of Burton wearing this very tunic.
