****THE TITLE AND DESCRIPTION OF THIS LOT HAVE CHANGED AND DIFFER FROM OUR PRINTED CATALOG****Pair of typed letters on University of Wisconsin letterhead in response to autograph requests, both signed in black fountain pen by Harry Stuhldreher of Notre Dame's Four Horsemen fame. Also a 4-1/4" x 6" photo with matte finish on heavy stock signed and inscribed in black fountain pen by him. Letters have been pasted to opposite sides of white paper for insertion into a display binder. Letters are EX with signatures that grade a 9, photo is EXMT-NRMT with signature and inscription that grade a 7 to 8; typed letter on NFL stationary dated January 16, 1946 in response to an autograph request, signed "Elmer Layden" in black ink rating an 8-9. The letter itself has been cut and glued to a white piece of paper for display in an autograph book. This lot is accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
