We were told by Jimmy Spence that this is the only 1924 NY Yankee team signed baseball he has ever seen. This OAL Johnson baseball is worn and toned, red and blue stitched with 19 total signatures. These include an early Babe Ruth in quotes on the sweet spot, Herb Pennock, Wally Pipp, Bob Meusel, Joe Dugan, Everett Scott, Bob Shawkey, Wally Schang, Benny Bengough, San Jones, Joe Bush and Fred Hofmann. This team is virtually identical to the 1923 Championship team and we cannot completely rule out that this is not, in fact a 1923. The signatures are done in black period ink and rate an overall 3. It is accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
