Inside the rear waistband of the John Wetteland home pinstripe pants is the “Russell” manufacturers tag with wash instructions and size “35.” The Steiner hologram is affixed. Attached are two flag tags. Wetteland has signed the front in bold, blue marker and added the inscription “WS MVP 96” rating a near perfect 10. They show game-use and appear to have no alterations of any kind; In the rear waistband of the Bobby Abreu pants is the Majestic tag with Steiner hologram affixed numbered “15697.” Adjacent is a white strip tag with “53 Abreu 35-42 37 07.” The pants show tremendous game-use with heavy dirt staining and a large rip on the back of the left leg.
