On the front left tail is the “Wilson” size 44 manufacturers tag with wash instructions. Inside the back collar is the "26-44-1964-2" embroidered strip tag. The numbers denote the player number, size, year and set number, respectively. Across the front is "New York." Below on the left and on the back is the player number "26." All lettering and numbering is done in blue on orange felt. On the right sleeve is “The World's Fair” patch. On the left sleeve is the “Mets” team logo patch. The front numbers were added for the 1965 season. The jersey shows very good game-use and besides the front numbers being added for the 1965 season appears to have no other alterations of any kind.
