This ring is very rare and to the best of our knowledge, no salesman’s samples were made. On the top of the ring around the perimeter is “1987 NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONS.” At its center is a large diamond with three red stones in relief along with “ST. LOUID CARDINALS.” On the left shank is “3,072,122” to commemorate the yearly attendance along with “World Series 75th” and Busch Stadium in relief. On the right shank is the scouts name “ARANZAMENDI” along with the World Series trophy in relief. Inside the ring is “CTO 10K.” It is size 10-1/2. It is in NM overall condition with the lightest of scratching and is accompanied by a hand-signed LOA from Jorge Aranzamendi which states, in part, “This is my NL Championship ring that was given to me by the team. It is original and there were never any duplicates made.”
