This limited edition basketball was sold by the Washington Wizards the night of Michael Jordan’s final game on the court, April 14, 2003. It is limited to 23 basketballs, this being the magical number 23 of 23. The ball features the signatures of the 2002-2003 Washington Wizards team including Michael Jordan, Kwame Brown, Juan Dixon, Brendan Haywood, Larry Hughes, Jared Jefferies, Christian Laettner, Tyrone Lue, Charles Oakley, Byron Russell, Jerry Stackhouse, Etan Thomas and Jahidi White. All signatures are done in black marker and rate an overall 8 with light smudging. The Jordan signature rates an 8. The basketball is accompanied by a team letter from the Wizards as well as a LOA from JSA. Also included are a “Let’s Go Wizards” rally towel, an 8x10 of Michael Jordan and a MCI Center commemorative ticket from Jordan’s last game.
