In 2001 Michael Jordan came out of his second retirement to join the Washington Wizards. In 2003 Jordan was the only Washington player to play in all 82 games, starting in 67 of them. He averaged 20 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.5 steals per game. This pair of "Nike" Jumpman sneakers were worn by Michael Jordan during his last trip to Los Angeles to play the Lakers in late March of 2003. They are white with blue trim. Jordan's number "23" appears on each lip in silver numbers with adjacent Nike "Air" logo. Inside the left sneaker is the manufacture date "01-20-03." There is an autograph on the front outer toe of the right shoe done in black marker rating an 8-9. The sneakers show game-use and appear to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication as well as an additional LOA. Also included is a photo match of Jordan wearing the sneakers on the court on March 28, 2003 against Kobe Bryant and the Lakers at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
