A legend of the 1980s, Isiah Thomas Thomas and the Pistons then won their first of back-to-back championships (1989 and 1990) when the Pistons defeated the Lakers in a 4 game sweep. Isiah was voted NBA Finals MVP in 1990. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Sand-Knit" manufacturer's wash tag with the jersey size "40" on it. Above this tag is an additional tag, which reads "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for Detroit Pistons." Next to these tags is the "89" embroidered year tag. Across the front of the jersey is "PISTONS" in red on blue vinyl lettering. Below that and on the back is the player number "11" in the same vinyl lettering. Across the back is "THOMAS" in blue vinyl lettering. In the back waistband of the 1989/90 shorts is the "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for Detroit Pistons" tag. The rest of the tagging has been cut out. In the back waistband of the 1990/91 shorts is the "Champion" manufacturer's wash tag with the jersey size "32" on it and "11" written on them in black marker. The jersey and both pairs of shorts show tremendous game-use and appear to have no alterations of any kind.
