Native Frenchman Dominique Wilkins (HOF) was one of the most prolific scorers and best dunkers in NBA history. Instrumental in the Atlanta Hawks' prominence in the 1980s, he helped the club record four consecutive 50-win seasons. He won two of five slam dunk contests, even defeating Michael Jordan in 1985. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Sand-Knit" manufacturer's wash tag with the jersey size "40" on it. Above this tag is an additional tag, which reads "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for Atlanta Hawks." Adjacent to the manufacturers tag is an additional manufacturer's embroidered tags with "88" and "3" L.B." on them. Across the front of the jersey is "HAWKS" in red tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "21" in yellow on white tackle twill. On the upper right breast is the embroidered official NBA logo. Across the back is "WILKINS" in red tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
