Nicknamed "Dr. J," Julius Erving (HOF) helped launch a modern style of play that emphasizes leaping and play above the rim. The star player of the ABA and a major force after the NBA merger, Erving won three scoring titles while playing with the ABA's Virginia Squires and New York Nets and the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers. He is the fifth-highest scorer in professional basketball history, with 30,026 points combined. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "PEARSON SPORTING GOODS" tag. Below that is a "WILSON" manufacturer's tag with the jersey size "40" on it. Attached below that is another tag that reads "2"." Across the front of the jersey is "SIXERS" in blue on red tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "6" in blue on red tackle twill. Across the back is "ERVING" in blue tackle twill. The jersey shows good game-use and there appears to be no alterations of any kind.
