Rod Strickland was selected in the first round of the 1988 NBA Draft by the New York Knicks. He played in all 82 games that year and averaged 8.9 points and 3.9 assists in 16.8 minutes per game and was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Sand-Knit" manufacturer's tag with the jersey size "42" on it. Above that is the "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for New York Knicks" tag. On the inside back collar of the jersey is the "Cosby" distributors tag. Across the front of the jersey is "NEW YORK" in orange on white tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "11" in orange on white tackle twill. Across the back is "STRICKLAND" in white tackle twill. On the upper left breast is the official "NBA" embroidered logo. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
