With the key acquisition of Julius Erving from the Virginia Squires during the offseason, the 1973-1974 NY Nets had finally added the last piece of the puzzle, ending the season with a franchise record 55 wins. With Dr. J being voted the ABA's MVP, the Nets defeated the Utah Stars in a five-game finals to claim their first of two ABA Championships. This size 10 ring is cast in yellow gold. Around the top perimeter is "ABA World Champions NY Nets" in relief. In the top center is a blue and red enameled ABA basketball into which a round genuine diamond has been set. On the right shank is the name "Massmann" in relief, below which is the Nets logo in relief, below which is stamped the ABA logo. On the left shank is "1974" in relief, below which is a three-part shield engraved with "Nets/Stars 111-100 4-1," "Nets 4 Colonels 0" and Nets 4 Squires 1." Overall EXMT-NRMT condition with very light wear.
