Jerry Lucas was a legendary basketball star from the 1950s to the 1970s. Lucas had the rare distinction of winning championships at every level of competition; in high school, college and the pros. He was even a member of the 1960 U.S. Olympic basketball team that won a gold medal in Rome. He played one and a half seasons in San Francisco before being traded to the NY Knicks. In 1996, he was named one of the NBA 50 Greatest Players. In the back collar of the blue fleece warm-up jacket is the "Wilson" manufacturers tag. This warm-up may have also been worn by McCoy McLemore. On the left breast is the embroidered "SAN FRANCISCO WARRIORS" logo patch. On the left sleeve is the player number "32" in yellow on white tackle twill. On the back of the jacket is the large "Warriors" embroidered logo with "SAN FRANCISCO" around it in yellow on white tackle twill. The jacket shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
