Emperor from 81-96 AD, Domitian was one of the "12 Caesars" was the son of the emperor Vespasian. For his cruelty, paranoia, and general instability, Domitian is sometimes viewed as one of the so-called Mad Emperors. This Roman Imperial silver AR denarius coin minted in 76 AD features a right facing laureate bust of Domitian on the front, winged Pegasus standing right, raising left foreleg on the reverse. Encapsulated and graded ICG-VF25.
