Silver AR drachma coin minted in Abydus (on the southeastern bank of the Hellespont) during the reign of Alexander The Great (336-323 BC), featuring a right-facing portrait of Hercules with lion skin on the front and Zeus enthroned with eagle and scepter on the reverse. This coin would have been minted during the period 328-323 BC. Encapsulated and graded ICG-EF40.
