Throughout that homestand (September 6-11, 2005) in tribute to the efforts of organizations working to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina, the Yankees wore Salvation Army patches on the right sleeves of their uniform shirts. On the front left tail of this jersey is the "Majestic" manufacturers tag with a series of flag tags attached reading size "50", "+1" body", and another tag that reads "2005". Inside the left seam of the jersey is a wash tag with code "0062" on it. On the left breast of the jersey is the "NY" logo in navy blue tackle twill. On the back is the player number "33" in navy blue tackle twill. On the back outside collar is the embroidered official "MLB" logo. On the right sleeve is the "Salvation Army" patch.
