Throughout the mid 1960s to early 1970s Jurgensen was the leader for the Redskins and in 1967 had his best season throwing for 3,747 yards. Inside the back of the collar is the "Cosby" manufacturer's tag. Adjacent is a second tag with shirt size "XL". Across the front of the sweatshirt is the player name "JURGENSEN" stenciled in black lettering. Also on the front is player number "9" sewn on in burgundy felt. The bottom rear has been torn away, measuring approximately 3-4 inches high by 8 inches across. The shirt came directly from Hall of Famer Charlie Taylor. This in an inexpensive way to get an impossible item to find from this Hall of Famer. Sweatshirt shows good wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
