Original one of a kind boxing promotional poster from the first Muhammad Ali / Sonny Liston Championship bout on February 25, 1964 in Miami. The challenger Ali, still known as Cassius Clay at that time, won the heavyweight belt with a 7th round TKO and "shook up the world." The poster shows slight restoration and is for the exclusive closed circuit "Screen Theatre TV" presentation at the southeast fairgrounds of the Dinkler Plaza Hotel. On the lower right is printed "Murray Poster Printing Co., Inc., 221 W. 64 St., N.Y.C." Written in blue ink under the "Cassius Clay" name on the right is "Winner 7th Round TKO." Written in blue ink in the date bubble at center is "1964." Poster measures 21" x 13-3/4" and shows some staining on the upper left and lower right. Tiny piece missing from the lower right corner, some ink writing on the back and upper right top, overall VG-EX condition.
