Gold Riddell football helmet game-used by San Francisco 49ers star wide receiver Dwight Clark during the 1981 Super Bowl Championship season, the year Clark made "The Catch" against the Cowboys. On each side of the helmet is the "SF" logo done in black, red, and white vinyl. Across the top of the helmet are three stripes done in red and white vinyl. On the front snubber is the "Riddell" manufacturer's label. The lower shell is stamped "S-80" for "late season 1980" and the upper crown is stamped "8/80," both of which indicate shell creation and prep late in 1980 for the 1981 season. On the inside of the helmet is the manufacturer's warning label and the player number "87" written in black marker above the right ear hole. Original chinstrap and facemask, Clark has signed the left side of the helmet in black marker and added his number "87," signature grades an 8. Helmet shows great use with several scuffs and scratches. Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication and an additional LOA.
