On March 14, 1969, the UCLA Bruins defeated Purdue in the NCAA Championship game 92-72. This appears to be a game ball used during that Championship game and has been signed by 18 members of that Championship team including John Wooden, Lew Alcindor (aka Kareem Abdul-Jabbar), John Vallely, Sidney Wicks, Steve Patterson, Curtis Rowe, Denny Crum, Terry Schofield, George Farmer, John Ecker, Bill Seibert, Bill Sweek, Gary Cunningham, Kenny Heitz and Bob Marcucci. All signatures are done in black marker and rate from a 7 to a 9 with the "Alcindor" rating a strong 9. The ball appears to have been used during the Championship game on the 14th and signed the following week. There is an inscription on the ball "Sat 3/22/69 @ Louisville, KY UCLA-92 PURDUE-72." It is a "MacGregor XIOL" official basketball and is in overall VG-EX condition. Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication.
