The "Corporate Spokestoon" of the Alabama Power Supply Company, "Reddy Kilowatt" first appeared in 1926 and by the 1940s was appearing on billboards, company stationery, newspaper and magazine ads, give-away merchandise, comics and the like. This Reddy Kilowatt themed dark blue children's pedal car dates from the 1950s and has been fully restored. Measuring 34" long x 17" wide x 20-1/2" tall, on the hood is "Reddy Kilowatt Special" in white paint. On both sides is "Reddy Kilowatt, Your Electric Servant" with character logo done in white vinyl stickers. Features a padded seat, red windshield, solid rubber tires with white and red wheels.
