Collection of seven vintage cork ocean duck decoys, which have a natural coarse texture and a unique ride in the water. They are black in color ("blue bills"), three have been painted with white accents ("buffle heads"). Hand made and carved in Long Island, NY circa 1930s-1940s, each has a wooden head and keel with rope or wire hook for pulling it through the water. They are used to attract ducks that eat ocean "shiners." They do show some wear and are in overall excellent condition.
