Promising the buyer a large amount of reading material (big) in a compact size (little), the "Big Little" children's books have been published by Whitman and others continuously since 1932. The books generally measure 3-5/8" wide x 4 1/2" tall x 1 1/2" deep with material drawn from comics, movies and radio. This collection of 90 vintage Big Little Books dated mostly from the 1930s. Titles include "Buck Jones In The Roaring West," "The Arizona Kid," "little Orphan Annie And Sandy," Parachute Squad U.S.A." and several others. The books show yellowing and some brittleness due to age, some surface wear apparent. A tremendous vintage collection!
