This Eegee Manufactured Howdy Doody puppet doll is 32" tall and includes the original green pants, plaid shirt, and green scarf. Imprinted in the back of Howdy's neck is "Eegee National Broadcasting Company 1972." There is a pull cord on the back of his neck, when pulled Howdy's jaw opens and closes. The doll has some wear on the painted head and the elastic on the waist of the pants has been worn out. With the exception of the elastic wear and wear on the hair paint, this doll functions perfectly and is in overall EX condition. The original Howdy Doody "Phono Doodle" phonograph was manufactured by the "Shura-Tone" company in the 1950s. The phonograph has a hinged lid and plays 78, 45, and 33-1/3 records. The phonograph turns on when plugged in but the turntable does not spin. The case is in overall VG-EX condition.
