Shooting in the high 40's for nine holes before his third birthday, child golf prodigy Tiger Woods is the only player in USGA history to have won both the Junior Amateur and Amateur titles. He played in his first professional tournament at age 16. With unlimited potential, he soon turned pro and proceeded to win two titles and finish in the top 10 five out of his first eight PGA tour events. At the age of 21, Tiger Woods became the youngest player ever to win the Masters. By 1997 he was ranked number one on the Official World Golf Ranking, again the youngest ever. Becoming the greatest player of his generation, Tiger would win eight times on the PGA Tour in 1999, including the PGA Championship, and earn over six million dollars. He capped off a great start by becoming the only person in history to hold all four modern day professional major titles consecutively. The shirt is a white with black trim golf shirt, size large with zippered front placket. On the left breast is sewn on a 1-1/4" Nike "swoosh" done in black on gray on black tackle twill. Tiger Woods has autographed the shirt in black ink above this, large signature grades an 8. On the inside collar is a black tag with black/red/gray Nike "swoosh," which was done exclusively for Tiger, according to Nike. Adjacent is a black flag tag that reads "Made In Indonesia, Fabrique En Indonesie" on the front and "RN# 56323, OA# 05553, RFC # NME 920220KL4" with Nike logo on the back. On the inside of the shirt is a white flag tag with size and wash instructions. The shirt shows nice use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. This extremely rare shirt was donated by Tiger through his management representatives at IMG to a local Cleveland Charity (Goodrich Gannett Center, where IMG is also based). Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication and additional LOAs, including one from IMG.
