O. J. Simpson, a two-time All-America from the University of Southern California and the 1968 Heisman Trophy winner, was one of history's most heralded rookies when the Buffalo Bills selected him as the No. 1 player in the 1969 draft. His career spanned 11 seasons, the first nine in Buffalo and the 1978 and 1979 campaigns in San Francisco. He rushed for 11,236 yards, and amassed 14,368 combined yards. He scored 456 points on 76 touchdowns. On the front tail of the jersey is the "Sand-Knit" manufacturer's size "LARGE" tag. Above this tag is the "Medalist Sand-Knit" exclusive tag. On the front, back, and on each shoulder is the player number "32" screen printed in blue on red. Across the back is "SIMPSON" screen printed in blue on a white name plate. There are numerous team repairs on the front and back of the jersey including the shoulder areas both front and back. The jersey shows game-use and, with exception to the team repairs, appears to have no alterations of any kind.
