The 1984 Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League defeated the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 47-17 to capture the Grey Cup, the Canadian equivalent of the Super Bowl's Lombardi Trophy. Popular Canadian beer "Labatt Blue" was named after the Blue Bombers. This size 10-1/2 Winnipeg Blue Bombers 1984 Grey Cup Championship ring is cast in 10K yellow gold. On the top and bottom of the ring face is "Winnipeg 1984" in relief on a gold background. On the left and right ring face is engraved "Grey Cup" in black. Centered on the top of the ring is a round synthetic diamond set atop a gold "W" with football, which itself is set atop a field of blue stone. On the left shank is engraved "Blue Bombers," beneath which is the CFL Grey Cup logo in relief with "Canadian Football League Champions" engraved around it. On the right shank is the engraved player name "Sturdivant," beneath which is an engraved football helmet with "W" in the center. Beneath this is engraved the player position and number "DE 57." On the inside of the ring is stamped "Jostens 10K." Ring shows light overall wear and is in overall EXMT-NRMT condition.
