Moving from the Polo Grounds after their first two Major League seasons (1962-1963), the 1964 Mets christened a brand new venue in Queens, Shea Stadium, where they continue to play to this day. This size 9 ring commemorates the opening of Shea Stadium and was given to VIPs and members of the Mets organization, year unknown. On the top is a raised Mets logo with three diamond chips. On the left shank is a raised "Mr. Met" mascot and on the right shank a raised depiction of Shea Stadium. Inside the ring is stamped "14K." The ring shows light wear and is in NR-MT condition, a fantastic piece of Mets history,
