Fernando Valenzuela was 19 years old when he broke into the big leagues on September 15, 1980, with the Los Angeles Dodgers. On the inside back collar of the jersey is the "Goodman & Sons" manufacturer's tag with size "44" flag tag. Across the front of the jersey is "Dodgers" in blue tackle twill. Below that on the left is the player number "34" in red tackle twill. On the back of the jersey is the player number "34" in blue on white tackle twill. Across the back is "VALENZUELA" in blue on white tackle twill sewn directly on the jersey. On the left sleeve is the "1980 All-Star Game" patch. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
