Eddie Murray was 21 years old when he broke into the big leagues on April 7, 1977 with the Baltimore Orioles. Consistency, durability, and dominance characterized his career. One of baseball's most productive hitters from the late 1970s through the 1990s, Murray is one of only three players to have totaled both 3,000 hits and 500 home runs, joining Hank Aaron and Willie Mays in that elite club. The all-time career RBI leader among switch-hitters and three-time Gold Glove Award winner at first base was also an eight-time All-Star, and had six consecutive top-10 finishes in voting for the Most Valuable Player Award. On the inside back neck of the jersey is the "Wilson" manufacturer's tag with the jersey size "40" and wash instructions on it. On the bottom front tail is an additional manufacturer's tag with "77 2" embroidered in black. Across the front of the jersey is "ORIOLES" in black on white tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "33" in black on white tackle twill. Across the back is "MURRAY" in black tackle twill on an orange name plate. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. An additional LOA provided.
