"No man in the history of baseball had as much power as Mickey Mantle. No man. You're not talking about ordinary power. Dave Kingman has power. Willie Mays had power. Then when you're talking about Mickey Mantle - it's an altogether different level. Separates the men from the boys." - New York Yankees Manager Billy Martin. Manuf: H&B, Model: K55, Length: 34.25 in, Weight: 32.6 oz, Wood: Ash, Condition: Un-cracked, several ball marks are on the left, right and back barrel surface area. Mantle's name is stamped into the front barrel in script-style lettering. Adjacent is "GENUINE" and "LOUISVILLE SLUGGER" in block letters. A few cleat markings have been knocked into the right, front and back barrel along with some other knicks along the barrel surface. The barrel end is heavily scuffed. Bat model number "K55" is stamped into the knob end. There is a light coat of pine tar still on the handle that is indicative of Mantle bats from the mid to late 1960s. Overall: GOOD Accompanied by an LOA from PSA/DNA and an addional LOA.
