"When Neil Armstrong first set foot on the moon, he and all the space scientists were puzzled by an unidentifiable white object. I knew immediately what it was. That was a home run ball hit off me by Jimmie Foxx." -- Lefty Gomez. Manuf: H&B, Model: Pre-Model, Length: 35 in, Weight: 31.1 oz, Wood: Ash, Condition: Hillerich & Bradsby pre-model Jimmie Foxx professional model bat shows evidence of excellent use with a handle crack that has been professionally repaired. Several ball marks and ball stitch marks are visible on the right and left barrel. Also visible on the bat are cleat marks and slight depressions on the left and back barrel. Jimmie Foxx gamers are among the rarest of the 500 Home Run Club members. This is a very nice example of a professional model Foxx bat from the latter part of his Hall of Fame career. Overall: EXCELLENT The bat has been graded by PSA/DNA as GU7.5. Accompanied by an LOA from PSA/DNA.
