The 1960 New York Yankees compiled a record of 97-57 en route to capturing the American League pennant before eventually losing to the Pittsburgh Pirates in seven games in the World Series. Offered here is a Ballantine Beer cardboard advertisement of the Yankees "WELCOME HOME DINNER," which was held at the Hotel Astor in New York City on April 10, 1961. The placard is in overall MINT condition measuring 22" x 14" and professionally matted inside a beautiful 28" x 20" frame. Also included is an original six inch long "Yankee Welcome Home Dinner Committee" ribbon dated April 10, 1961.
