Moe Berg spoke several different languages and was commonly called "the brainiest guy in baseball" by sportswriters, who featured him in their columns more often than his sports prowess warranted. Offered here is an 8" x 10" black & white photograph of Moe Berg donning his catchers gear, an 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" cover of the biography "THE CATCHER WAS A SPY" and also a returned check signed by Berg. The check dated November 12, 1953 measures 2-1/2" x 6-1/2" and is made out to cash in the amount of fifty dollars. Berg has signed the check on the lower right corner in blue pen, rating a strong 9. Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication.
