In 1952 future HOF home run king Hank Aaron signed with the Milwaukee Braves and played two years in the minors before being called up. In his first year he played with the Eau Claire Bears of the Class C Northern League, batting over .300 and winning rookie of the year despite playing only 87 games (he was signed in June). This MacGregor Official Northern League baseball has been signed in black ink by 16 members of that Bears team. Signatures include HOFer Hank Aaron, Elmer Toth, Bob Brown, Gordon Roach, Bill Conroy, Dick Engquist, Lantz Blaney, George Kornack and several others. Ball has a few pieces of leather missing, signatures grade an overall 7. One of the earliest Aaron signatures extant! Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication.
