A rectangular banner measuring 24" x 101". It is made of blue felt with a red felt outline stitched in. The lettering is white and stitched in as well and reads "NEW YORK YANKEES AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 1958". The banner is in overall Very Good condition except for a one inch round hole in the lower right hand corner. It was hung in Milwaukee County Stadium during the 1959 Milwaukee Braves season.
