Mike Schmidt was a twelve time All-Star, ten time Gold Glove Award winner, World Series Champion and won the NL MVP three times. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1995. Inside the rear neck is the Goodman & Sons manufacturer’s tag size “44” with washing instructions. Adjacent below is a strip tag reading the player name “Schmidt” embroidered in maroon. Handwritten on this are equipment manager notations in black marker. Across the chest reads “Phillies” in white tackle twill.
