Late 1940s Cecil Hankins BAA/NBA St. Louis Bombers Worn Jacket (Very Rare and Historic)

The St. Louis Bombers were originally part of the Basketball Association of America (BAA) in 1946. The BAA merged with the National Basketball League (NBL) in 1949 to become the National Basketball Association (NBA). In 1950, the Bombers, along with five other teams, dropped out of the league altogether. Inside the jacket is the “Minnesota Inspired Tailored by BUTWIN” manufacturers tag. On the front left breast is the “St. Louis Bombers” embroidered logo patch. The jacket shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind. An additional LOA will be provided.
