Larry Bird was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1998. Three-time NBA champion, two-time NBA Finals MVP, three-time NBA MVP, nine-time All-NBA First Team, NBA Rookie of the Year, "One of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History," and Olympic gold medalist are a few of the highlights of Bird's illustrious career. On the inside back collar is the manufacturer's "Medalist Sand-Knit" size "46" tag. Above this is the "Medalist Sand-Knit" “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Boston Celtics” tag. On the front right breast is "Larry" embroidered in white script. On the front left breast is the "Boston Celtics" patch. Across the back of the shooting shirt is the player name "BIRD" in white tackle twill sewn directly on the back. The shooting shirt shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Originally obtained from a team source.
