Three “Central Bank of Oakland” checks signed by famed American author, Jack London. One of the checks is dated “April 2, 1907” and the other two are dated “April 4, 1907”. The checks are made out in the amounts of $1.00, $5.00 and $53.90. The checks are paid to the order of, “Sherman Clay Jr.”, “M. G. Lachmead” and “S. Parker & Co.”. London has filled out the checks in black ink and signed each with the signatures, in our opinion, rating a 7-8 overall. Bank stamped appear on the front and back of all three checks, stamps intersect with the signature on two of the three checks. The checks each measure 6-½” x 2-¾” and are in EX condition. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
