This 24” x 24” section of the Boston Garden parquet is the actual spot on the floor where Gerald Henderson made his historic steal of a James Worthy pass during Game 2 of the 1984 NBA Finals against the LA Lakers. It has been autographed by Henderson in black marker rating a 7-8. The shadow box frame measures 42” x 29” and is 4” deep. There is a plaque inside the frame which reads “Gerald Henderson’s Steal Stuns Lakers Celtics vs. Lakers Game 2 1984 NBA Finals”. This great piece of “the most famous floor in basketball” is accompanied by LOAs from the Boston Celtics, the Boston Garden as well as a LOA from JSA. This lot will be expensive to ship due to size and weight.
