When speaking of the most iconic names in the history of baseball, Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig are at the top of the list. The Bambino and The Iron Horse led the NY Yankees “Murders Row” to several World Championships and have cemented their places both in baseball history and pop culture. Framed and matted to measure 22” x 25”, this display piece contains a 16” x 20” black and white photo of both Ruth and Gehrig in their Yankees road grey’s, hats in hand with their weapons of choice beside them. At the bottom are two matted cuts, one signed by each. The Ruth is signed boldly in black steel tip fountain pen rating a 9. The Gehrig is also signed in steel tip black fountain pen rating a 7-8. The display piece is NM overall and is accompanied by a LOA from JSA. The Gehrig cut is accompanied by a full JSA LOA while the Ruth cut is backed by a PSA/DNA LOA.
