Hall of Famer Larry Bird is the only person in NBA history to be named Rookie of the Year, Most Valuable Player, Finals MVP, All-Star MVP, Coach of the Year, and Executive of the Year. He played his entire career with the Boston Celtics for 13 years leading them to 5 Finals appearances and winning 3 of them. After his career as a player Bird went on to become a successful coach for the Indiana Pacers and later became an executive for the NBA. Bird is known to have worn this style of Converse Pro shoes from 1980 to 1984. Bird wore Converse his entire career usually in Celtics green. This pair is autographed by Bird with the left shoe featuring a personalized autograph “To Adam - Larry Bird '' and the right shoe “Larry Bird”. Both autographs are in black marker and rate an 8 in our opinion. These shoes were featured in a Rolling Stone magazine ad by Converse, which is included in the lot. These shoes are sized 13 ½. These shoes are properly tagged, presented to us as game-used and show excellent wear. These shoes are accompanied by a full JSA LOA, as well as an additional LOA.
